Christmas presents for family?
Ok, as you all know, Christmas is coming up. For my family this year, i’m not getting them a whole bunch of different Christmas gifts. Instead, I’m sewing them each a stocking, and filling it with a whole bunch of small gifts (the stockings are their favourite colour, and, don’t worry, I know how to sew, the sewing part is almost done 
).
I’m a 13 year old girl, so the things I put inside them can’t be TOO expensive.
MOM- I already got her a swarovski necklace because I know someone who makes them, so she gave me a discount. I was thinking of getting her a day at the spa. But I have a few questions about the other gifts I should get her…
I know this person who sells fake coach and chanel and dior and all those kind of high class brand names. I wanted to get my mom a scarf. But there are two I’m stuck in between. The first, is a sort of small, silk coach one, that she would tie on her purse or something. There are all different colour "c" ’s on it. That scarf (or whatever it is), is 20 dollars.
The second choice is a burberry scarf. It is brown and red, and plaid. And, it is SO soft. It is bigger and softer than the coach one, but is 40 dollars. I like the burberry better, but i’m on a buget, what should i do? (by the way, it is the only place in the city that you can get the high class brands like that)
BROTHER- I was thinking of getting him a video game, for the X-box. He is 17, and likes guitar hero, and war games. What game can I get him?
DAD-ok, it is SOOOO hard to get things for him.He likes electronics, but has almost everything you can imagine. So, i was thinking of getting him a tie. There was also something I saw in the store, it heated your coffee in the car.
PLEASE HELP ME!!! Please answer the scarf question if you can. ALSO, please give me ANY ideas you have, because, when it comes to getting people presents, I am stumped!
Also if you can, can you make sure the ideas you give me, can fit in a stocking?
PS, please don’t say something like, "you shouldn’t have to worry about getting your family presents, because it;s the thought that counts!", because, I have been giving my family home-made gifts FOREVER, and I would really like to have a change. Anyways, I;m having SO MUCH FUN planning this!

Go for the cheaper scarf since it fits your budget…=)
Mom = hair accessories, fingernail / manicure products, make up, cologne/body spray, fuzzy socks, travel size hygiene items

i love that you’re sewing the stockings for them. for your mom, a day at the spa would be really expensive, so i would go with one of the scarves definitely. you know your mom the best, so if you think she would like the coach accent scarf for her purse, i would choose that. usually the fake stuff wears out a lot quicker, so i would recommend spending less money on it. but if your mom isn’t the type to use something like that, i would recommend the Burberry since its probably more like a scarf to wear, and on a personal note i like plaid a lot, and i think the burberry would be less noticeably fake than the coach, but i am guessing they both pass for the real thing. anyway, short answer for that i agree with you and you should get the burberry.
for your brother, i don’t know your budget but the new band hero game is out which looks ok. you can also go to www.xbox.com/games to search through all the games. there are a lot of new ones out, i think guitar hero 5 is out.
for your dad, i feel your pain its always hard to buy for the dad. think about whether he would use the coffee in the car gadget. does he have a long commute to work? or would he not really need it? does he need to wear a tie to work every day? then a tie isnt a bad idea because he will always need them. i would suggest going to sears and looking at the electronics. does he have an ipod or mp3 player? i would assume yes since he has almost everything, so maybe if he doesn’t have a speaker dock for it, that would be a nice gift also. hope this is helpful!

On the scarf, get her the one you think she would like most, but if you can’t afford it don’t spend $40 on a knock off, get her the cheaper one.
For your brother, The game call of duty is good, My Husband loves war games and he loves the call of Duty games.
For your dad, Tie’s are so ho hum. I would try and look for some kind of cool gadget at radio shack or something. The coffee warmer sounds like a good idea. My dad sounds the opposite of your dad so I can’t be much help.
